Designed by the Quirky community and Apple enthusiasts in just 24 hours, the Quirky PowerCurl is a clip-on cord wrap for Apple’s 45W, 60W, and 85W MagSafe Power Adapter. The Curl, as we like to call it, makes it easy to unplug and pack up quickly without having to untangle your extension cords the next time you set up shop.

Oh, and we've quirkified this thing -- it's bright orange and dead sexy. Here's what else makes it hot:

- Both ends of the cord (the plug end and the MagSafe end) can wrap around the device, allowing for quick and easy unraveling.

- The included clip enables the plug end of your cord to clip to itself, just like your MagSafe end does.

- Fear over-heated adapters no more -- PowerCurl elevates the power adapter for improved air circulation and cooling.

- You will be able to choose between the 60W or 85W model prior to device shipping.

I got mine that I ordered for my MacBook. I like it, but it is quite a bit larger than I expected. It took a bit of trial and error to get it set up. Once I got the adapter to fit in it, it was fine. It won't fit in my smaller carry bag, but it fits in my larger Booq Mamba bag with no problem. Just something to think about if you're tight on space. I like it enough to order another one for my MBP. My only complaint is that I wish it weren't quite so big. Overall, good job though. And I really like the color. I get a lot of positive comments on it when I'm working at a bookstore or other hotspot. Cheers!

Does anyone know if this works with the iBook G4 45W power adapter?

Just got mine. Very quick shipping in Canada. Just so people know, with it all put together, the end result is absolutely enormous. Stack 4-5 CD cases on top of each other, and that'll be what you'll be carrying around. The pictures don't really give off that impression.

PPS--also wish I had a color choice but that would prbly complicate the manufacturing and stock of this product. oh well! if ever there is black--let me know!

I love it! I was using some velcro straps before but this makes way more sense for a more compact design, and it keeps the power block off the floor and will keep it nice and white for the future! thanks so much! PS--this thing shipped AND arrived in 24HRS for me! it was incredible! love it!

Love the idea. Not sold on the color choice though. Can we have a pink or white one?? The orange isn't too appealing.

Finally got mine. The idea is great. The result - not so much. Really cheap looking and in atrocious carrot orange. The glossy renders are too far from reality. But it all wouldn't matter if only this thing could fit it the front pocket of my 2unfold bag. I cut the round 'ears' and it's still very tight. Maybe I will crop the edges some more.

Sent the cord to Mom as a gift. The package needs a drawing for the technically challenged. Seriously. She could not figure out how to use it right.

We should design a version of this for the Airport Express.

Just got my PowerCurl from Quirky. It is actually a really nice product. Sturdy yet flexible construction, and works great. I fantastic solution for an annoying problem. I recommend it, if you hate the apple cord wrap system as much as I do.
